The Art of Quilt Composition & Quilt Construction: Session Two

This workshop will explore contemporary art aesthetics and composition theories using quilting as the medium. Under the guidance of Julian J. Jones, students will be inspired to create and design a quilt incorporating quilt history principles, color theory, abstract art, and modern art techniques.

Participants are required to bring their own sewing machine and should have a good understanding of its operation. A materials supply list will be sent to all registered students.

This three day workshop, which will run from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm each day, will be held in Julian Jamaal Jones’s studio at the Stutz. You can register here.
