Over the years, the Stutz has played host to some of the city’s best events, from art fairs and studio tours to weddings and unique corporate events. Now with a variety of indoor and outdoor options available, the newly renovated ground floor of the building has been designed to continue the social legacy.

WDRFA Store Grand Opening

We’re excited to welcome WDRFA Store to the Stutz as part of the City of Indianapolis’ St’Artup317 Retail incubator program!
Come out to celebrate the Grand Opening of WDRFA Store - shop, enjoy Mike G's 2023 Wines , good music, great food and people.
1060 N CAPIT0L AVE. (ON THE CORNER OF 10TH & CAPITOL)
The event is completely FREE to come and all ages are welcome.
The event will be inside and outside, you will be able to purchase items from the WDRFA Store, bottles and glasses of Sherrce or Reflections will be availble at the Daniel's Vineyard tent, explore The Stutz building, grab food and drinks from Julietta taco shop and Turner's Bar, with sounds by DJ Prince + activations.
This is the true GRAND FINALE of Mike G's Series this Summer, but the beginning of a new chapter for WDRFA, be sure to grab some apparel, drinkware or leather goods. Bottles of wine will also be available to-go so you can enjoy them at home, with your loved ones and friends.
All ages welcome. 21+ TO DRINK.
Third Thursdays at the Stutz

Introducing "Third Thursday" - a monthly fiesta of art, vibes, and community at Stutz. 🎨 Dive into a world of creativity with live tunes 🎶, sip on some delightful concoctions at Turner's, and treat your taste buds to Julieta's tantalizing tacos. Wander through the Stutz Artists Open Studios and feel the buzz in the courtyard with ever-changing activations. Remember, no two Third Thursdays are the same! Can't wait to groove with you every month. See ya! 🥳
First Friday Open Studios
Date: Friday, October 6, 5-9pm (No Open Studios in September)
Come and meet artists working at the Stutz! Visit studios, buy art, and meet other lovers of art.

STUTZ BLOCK PARTY & OPEN HOUSE
The Stutz hosted a Block Party & Open House on May 21!
The event was the perfect opportunity to explore The Stutz and to learn more about the creative businesses that call it home. Guests wandered through the new courtyard, discovered new work from talented artists and makers, and enjoyed good drinks and bites along the way.
There was live music, interactive games, open artist studios, a car show, and fun for all ages. It was so fun to see so many different people come through and appreciate all the progress that has been made on transforming the building!

MAGIC IN THE MAKING by PENROD
The Penrod Society® and The Stutz Artist Association partnered to host the 3rd Annual Magic in the Making at the iconic Stutz Building.
This interactive evening of art, music, drinks, and hors d’oeuvres is a one-of-a-kind experience with guests taking advantage of the opportunity to tour the Stutz Building, talk with and observe the resident artists, and purchase their fine works.
An excellent time was had by all!
PATTERN celebrated the launch of vol. 23, The Food Issue on April 29 in the Makers Alley.
Live music, visuals, interactive pop-ups, bites brought vol. 23 to life with over 250 people in attendance. It was epic!

Car Museum Opening Night
The Stutz Car Museum opened on February 3 with community support, music from ISO, old racing films, and plenty of champagne. The museum showcases nine classic cars on loan from Turner Woodard’s personal collection and racing memorabilia, designed and manufactured in the Stutz factory building a century ago.
Stutz Winter Markets
Last winter, the Stutz played host to a series of successful Holiday Markets, with 100+ vendors selling artisan goods and offering unique experiences like an ugly sweater workshop, live break dancing, and a Gingerbread craft table, all set amongst beautiful festive holiday decor and lights, displayed inside and outside.

Join us at Stutz Car Museum for a rejuvenating yoga class from 9-10 am, followed by a market experience from 10 am-2 pm in the courtyard. Discover local vendors and support small businesses.

BUTTER 2
BUTTER is a multi-day fine art fair and celebration founded by GANGGANG that seeks to elevate Black artists in the national conversation by inviting local artists to exhibit and sell work alongside artists from all over the world. Unlike other art shows, BUTTER was founded with an equitable and reparational process, taking no commissions for any of the works sold. Open to the general public, the second annual event took place on Labor Day Weekend 2022 at the Stutz, showcasing the contemporary works of over 42 Black visual artists.
Save the Date: BUTTER 3 will return to the Stutz for Labor Day Weekend 2023.
